Two of my good friends are getting married so we threw them a shower at work. They love Corn Hole or Bagg-O (depending on where you are from) so we made them a custom Wedding-Themed version of the game. The couple loved the gift so much they wanted to feature it at their wedding. So I made some upgrades.

Update 1: They were a pain in the butt to move on your own. So after a quick trip to The Home Depot (or two) I picked up some chest latches and handles. Now they connected and can be easily carried with one person. Problem one solved!

Update 2: The game is way more fun with booze. With a couple of scrapes of wood and a quick trip to Lish’s Crafty Workshop, I made some hidden booze racks. This way they can head out to the park for a day (or at least a hour til the booze runs out) for fun in the sun.

Handmade gifts are a pain, they take planning, tools, patience and more often than not, money. But, they really mean a lot to the person on the other end. It shows that you took more time than hitting up the local convenience store and grabbing a lotto ticket. Sure they could win the lotto but odds are good they will become big jerks with fancy cars and start treating you like valets. Don’t let your friend’s treat you like valets. Hand make them a gift or buy them DirecTV.
