Do you love the smell of Scotch? Then you might like Hylnds: Spirit of the Glen (login required).

I requested a test sample as it is inspired by The Glenlivit scotch. My first impression was it smelled pretty light with a bit of a scotch but was a bit girly for me. However, it did mellow out over the day.

It’s a bit pricey compared to my typical cologne purchases but maybe it is time to expand my horizons. I would say that it isn’t over powering with scotch. You don’t smell like you are drunk but instead it is just a touch. It has a hint of peat and really is quite pleasant. I would say it’s a good buy for the super fan but a bit out of the price range for a typical fan.
