St. Patrick’s Day really is a drinking holiday. While some people are amateurs when it comes to celebrating, Nick Drinks can help you find the tastiest drink for home or the the best event for the educated individual.

Drinking at Home
Gin Rocket
There are many ways to make cocktails green some of them are spirits based and some are based on non-alcoholic ingredients. Using vegetables is a fun way to sneak a teeny tiny bit of nutrition in those drinks and be creative. I love what Maggie Hoffman did in her One-Bottle Cocktail book. HEre is the Gin Rocket. Very tasty.
We are spoiled with the amount of straight spirits that are available to sip on these days, even in Michigan. On St. Patrick’s Day, Motor City Gas is releasing their 2018 Barley Legal. A bold Irish Whiskey with lots of kick.
Also check out some of my favorite products from overseas such as; Writer’s Tears, Redbreast and Green Spot.
Recently brands have been getting more experimental. Jameson released their IPA Edition and Tullamore DEW released a Caribbean Cask. It is a great time to be alive.
