Welcome to NickDrinks.com. Tonight is the official launch of the site with our first tasting party. We gathered a few friends together to try some Pisco, a Peruvian brandy. The group tried three brands and various different styles.

In addition to tasting all the piscos, doing our best to identify all the tastes the pros taste, we made a few cocktails with pisco as well. Both Pisco Sours and Pisco Punch are great classic cocktails that we each sampled.
I reached out to a few companies to get some goodies to test with the group. I’d like to thank Barsol and Margaritaville for helping make the event a success. I’ll have separate posts for each of their products this week.
The blog has been a work in progress for the past month and it is ready for the public. But there is still much for me to learn and I’m sure I’ll develop my style over the life of the blog. Please leave your feedback and comments on the page.
