I wasn’t familiar with Dandelion and Burdock Soda until I saw a 4 pack by Fentiman’s at Merchant’s Fine Wines in Dearborn, Mich.. The soda goes back to the middle ages but the JDB cocktail is a recent invention.
Mix 1 part Jack Daniels with 1 part Dandelion and Burdock Soda for a tasty treat. It’s a bit bitter, a bit medicinal and a bit sweet. While not the most technically challenging cocktail it does bring a bunch of new flavors to my palette.
